Baby 24: It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

A few days ago we arrived at a rental house in Sunlit Tides. I had decided to move the kids here to get used to their new town before starting school after Christmas break. Since our new home wasn't ready yet, Logan allowed us to stay at a vacation home he had built. It was small, but Cara, Amy, and Mackenzie would be moving out today. They were grown and wanted to go out into the world to explore in their words, "everything." We renovated the study into another small nursery (with Logan's permission of course). Before we left, I had discovered I was pregnant with baby 24 (or more!). If you haven't already guessed, I'm pregnant from that night with Matthew many months before. Even though it was unexpected, we are both ecstatic.

The girls have grown into beautiful young adults. All three of them bought a small apartment on the other side of town and will be living together. They haven't found a job yet, but are volunteering at a local animal shelter. They all hope that the owner will hire them soon. I'm sure he will. Both Logan and I were sad to see them grown up so fast.

Meanwhile, Bradley has grown so much. He's sprouted a full head of hair, which I discovered, is the same as his father's. The only visible feature of mine are his eyes. The twins, Jayden and Chase haven't changed much, as with Elle.

***********************************************

"Elle! Your grandparents are here! Where are you?!" I shouted down the hallway. My parents had just arrived for my Christmas party and I had wanted Elle to greet them at the door. Looks like that wasn't going to happen. My brothers were supposed to travel here also, but were unable to make it because of work.

"Elle! Don't make me call you again!" I shouted once more. Seconds later Elle appeared with Bradley in her arms.

"Gosh Mom, I said I was coming." She stated.

"Chloe! Your children are absolutely adorable!" My mother exclaimed. Elle's face lit up when she realized she was being talked about. She set Bradley on the floor and gave my mother a hug.

"Hi, Grandma!" She greeted. "I'm Elle!" She smiled up at my mother and curtsied like she always did.

"Keep an eye on that one, Mom." I explained. "She may look cute and innocent, but she's got a lot of tricks up her sleeve."

"Nonsense!" My mother answered. She followed Elle into the living room with a now awake Bradley trailing behind.

"So, Dad, How have you been lately?" I asked him.

"Good, honey, good. It's been lonely at home, despite having your mother there. I still haven't grown accustomed to not having you and your brothers around."

"I can understand, Dad. I don't know what I'll do when I'm finished my challenge and my kids are all grown with families of their own."

"You'll find something to do, Chloe. I know you will." He smiled.
"Why don't we join the others in the living room? You have yet to meet Matthew and I know you'll approve."

"Sounds good to me."

"Dad, this is Matthew, my boyfriend." I beamed.

"Pleased to meet you, sir. You have a wonderful daughter." Matthew greeted.

My dad shook his hand and I turned to face Alex. "Dad, you remember Alex. It's been quite some time, but he looks very much the same." I laughed.

"Great to see you again, Mr.Moreau." Alex stated.

"You too, son. I've heard you're quite the successful one!" My dad exclaimed.

Alex laughed. "Yes, I guess you could say so." They continued talking while I made my way to the kitchen to continue cooking dinner.

I had decided to make fettuchine alfredo for dinner this Christmas Eve because I was too exhausted to cook a full course meal. My mother had offered her help, but I had politely declined. She was our guest. I didn't want her slaving over a stove for hours.

Matthew quietly slipped into the kitchen and put his arms around my protruding stomach.

"Oh!" I yelped. I had no idea he was even in the room. He had a habit of scaring me that way.

"How are you feeling?" He asked. I could sense the smile in his voice.

"Fine." I replied. I can't wait until this baby is out." I explained. This had been one of my most uncomfortable pregnancies. The worst nausea, back aches, and exhaustion. I couldn't wait until I gave birth. Matthew kissed my cheek.

"Well, your due date is in the next couple of days, so not much longer." He enthused. He was so excited to have another one of his own in our house.

I smiled. "Why don't you go back out into the living room and entertain everyone? I'm almost done with dinner."

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Mhmm." I responded. He let go of my waist and walked back into the living room.

After dinner we all sat in the living room and talked. I brought out a pie I had made the night before and set it on the coffee table. All of them men had a slice, but my mother and I were too full to even consider one. Elle, however, helped herself to three slices. I swear that child has an endless pit for a stomach.

We were discussing our plans for Christmas Day when I heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it." I told everyone. I got up off the couch(with a little help from Matthew) and made my way to the door.

I opened the door and was surprised to see my best friend Becks standing in the doorway. Her teeth were chattering and she was shaking.

"Becks!" I pulled her inside and closed the door. Her cheeks were bright red and she looked like she was freezing.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came to give you this." She replied handing me a small wrapped box.

I smiled. "Thanks! You came all the way out here in the snow to give this to me?" I questioned.

"Well, yea." She responded. "I also wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas. I knew you'd be busy tomorrow with the kids and all and I wanted to get this to you soon."

"You're too sweet!" I pulled her in for a hug. "You look cold. How 'bout you come in for a bit and warm up? I made some pie if you want a slice. I'm sure everyone would love to meet you. You have yet to meet my parents."

"I'd love to."

I walked Becks into the living room and got everyone's attention.

"Hey guys, Becks is here! Mom, Dad, this is my best friend." I announced.

My mother turned around in her chair with a warm smile on her face which quickly turned into one of utter shock and terror.

"Mom, are you ok?" I asked concerned. Becks stood there with a confused look on her face.

"Uh, yes, I'm sorry, sweetheart. You just look so much like someone I used to know." She explained to Becks. "Excuse me." She excused herself and went into the bathroom.

"That was strange. I don't know what upset her." I told Becks.

"It's fine." Becks replied. Alex got up from the couch with a smile.

"Becks!" Alex walked over and gave her a hug. "How are you?"

"I'm good. Thanks. How are you? I heard you got a new job here?" She asked.

"Yeah, in journalism. It's great. I work with Matthew in the business towers."

"Speaking of Matthew," Matthew said, "Great to see you, Becks." He gave her a hug. "Sorry, I can't talk more. I have to put the kids to bed before they get wound up again." He stated.

"I understand. I actually have to leave myself. I promised Maggie, Jeanie, and Lourdes I'd be home before bed time." She explained.

"Tell them I said hi! I can't wait to see them again. Oh, and tell Logan I said hi, too." I winked at her and she blushed. "Thanks again for the gift, Becks. I hope to see you soon." I gave her another hug and she was out the door.

**************************
The day after everyone left, I went into labor and gave birth to baby 24, a beautiful baby girl. Matthew and I named her Holly. She was our little Christmas baby.

**************************
I hope you enjoyed this post. I'm happy to have another Smith baby :) I will  continue to write while Chloe lives in this house. I probably won't have any more babies here, but Chloe will still be getting into her regular mischief (with Becks and Logan of course).
Merry Christmas!

Life's Only Valuable Emotion (LOVE)

Warning: There is some mature content in this post. Nothing crazily ridiculous though.

"You almost ready?" I heard Matthew ask from the doorway.

"Almost. I just have to finish feeding Bradley and then I'll be ready." I responded. Bradley cooed and went back to sucking on his bottle. He made the cutest little facial expressions.

He stood in silence for a while and than I saw him smile.

"What?" I asked laughing.

"Nothing. You just look beautiful." His smile got bigger.

I blushed. "Thank you. You look very handsome. If I may say so myself."

Bradley pushed away the bottle with his tiny little hands and yawned.

"Looks like someone needs a nap." I said to him. I snuggled him close and then put him in his crib. He fell asleep the second his head hit the pillow.

"Ready." I stated.

The fall festival had started a little over a week ago in Sunset Valley. We had taken the kids a few days ago and let them stuff themselves with all of their favorite foods. The triplets even built up the courage to entire the haunted house that the community had set up. Matthew and I had decided to go back today to spend some alone time together. Something we cherish considering we don't get much of it.

I convinced him to go rollerskating the second we got there. He had never done it before, so he was a bit apprehensive. I, being a skater for most of my childhood, was looking forward to tying up my laces once again. We stepped onto the wooden rink and I immediately skated to the center to see if I still had the ability to spin. I smiled when I succeeded, but then that smile quickly faded when I realized I had flashed everyone my underwear. Thankfully not too many people were around. I knew wearing a dress was a mistake. I looked over to see Matthew gripping the side causing his knuckles to turn white. I skated over to him.

"It's fine." I reassured him with a bit of a laugh. It felt funny being the one doing the reassuring. He gave me an anxious smile and let go of the side. He skated a few steps and then let out a cry of surprise. He had fallen flat on his butt. He looked a bit embarrassed when I had to help him up.

"Easy for you to say, Little Miss Show-off." He teased.

"Here." I took his hand and guided him to the center of the rink. We skated in a small circle for a few blissful seconds. Then he lost his balance again taking me with him this time. I landed right on his lap which caused an eruption of laughter to escape both of our lips.

"Why don't we find something else to do?" I said with a smirk. "There's always next year."

"Great idea. I thought you'd never ask." He replied. Despite the falls, he looked like he had enjoyed it.

We made our way over to what looked to be a game. The woman in charge of it explained that it was meant to test the love of couples who played. Matthew looked at me and I nodded in approval. It seemed like a fun thing to try. He took out a quarter and pushed it into the slot. The machine burst into life, flashing shades of all different bright colors.

We placed both of our hands on the handle and watched as the machine lit up the different levels. The large heart at the top suddenly burst with color and the machine went haywire.  A loud ding went off and a small slip of paper popped out of the side. I pulled it out and read aloud.

"Error: The love and  of you and your significant other cannot be processed. The levels are too high."

I giggled a bit and Matthew pulled me in to kiss my cheek.

"That machine knows what it's talking about." He smiled.

He guided me over to the dance floor and took hold of my right hand. The other he placed around my waist. The park lights had dimmed and there was a small band playing a slow song. I rested my other hand on his shoulder and gazed into his eyes. They were filled with genuine love and made my heart flutter in my chest.

"I love you." I said with a smile from ear to ear.

He spun me around and I heard him whisper,"I love you more." That caused more pathetic girly giggles to escape my mouth. When I had fully turned around he had a cheeky grin on his face.

"What?" I asked amused.

He pulled me up into the air and I laid my hands on his shoulders for support. He held me there just looking into my eyes. I could feel his minty breath on my face. I pushed away his bangs and planted a passionate kiss on his lips. When I opened my eyes he still had that look of love on his face.

"Let's go home." He suggested.

"Where are the kids?" He managed to ask between kisses.

"Asleep. They're all in bed." I responded with a giggle. I paused for a few seconds and just looked at his beautiful green eyes. I then kissed him again. He pulled me in closer so that I was right up against his chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt his hot breath against my face once again. It all felt so surreal. It felt perfect.

A minute later we were both nearly undressed and I was pressed up against the wall. I continued kissing him and wrapped my legs around his waist. His lips were so soft and gentle that I just never wanted to break away. He began to stroke my cheek.

"Chloe-" He began. I knew what he was going to say.

"Yes." I replied.

Somehow we made it to the bed. I laid down on the blue comforter and smiled as he leaned down to kiss me. I never wanted this feeling to end. He entangled his hands in my hair and kissed my forehead. I smiled up at him.

"I love you." I said again.

"I love you more." He repeated. We slipped under the covers and made love.

That night before I fell asleep, I laid in bed in Matthew's arms and glanced at the picture frame I had hung on the wall months before. I heard his soft breaths in my ear and knew he was asleep. I smiled to myself for about the millionth time that night. I never wanted anything to change. I closed my eyes and let my dreams take over.

IMPORTANT

Hey guys! :) I know it's been more than two weeks since I've posted which isn't like me. I'm still here, don't worry! I'm just taking a bit of a break. A friend of mine is actually building Chloe's house for me, so I'll be waiting until it is finished to start working on my next post. It's perfect timing because I have to study for my final exams which are later this week. I have no idea when the house will be finished, but I promise you that the second it's done I will start taking screenshots :) For now I'm just going to focus on home work and brainstorm some ideas for Chloe's future adventures! Thanks for your understanding :) I hope to get back blogging soon!

Baby #23: Merrily We Roll Along, AGAIN?!

So much has happened since I saw Alex in that office. It started off with me jumping out of my chair and giving him a huge hug. Then it ended with me explaining everything to a very confused Matthew. I don't even think that we spoke once about my book that day. We just sat and caught up with each other. Speaking of my book, after that first meeting I scheduled another appointment to actually discuss it. Well, that meeting was more like a lunch at the Bistro. I was excited to hear him tell me that it would be able to be published in the next couple of months. Excited isn't even the right word to use. I was more like, what's the word... ECSTATIC.

The past couple of months have been great. Alex and I have been quickly starting our friendship again. I can't even explain how good it is to have him back with me. I've missed him for so many years. We've once again come to the point where we are inseparable. We are constantly either texting, talking in person, talking on the phone, skyping, etc. The only time we aren't in contact is when we're asleep. He's great with the kids too. They are all a big fan of him. Chase especially.

As for the kids, all of them all have grown beautifully.

Ashton is quite handsome. His nose is so adorable! He still practices Sim Fu daily and has recently mastered the skill. He's very close with his younger sisters Mackenzie, Amy, and Cara and visits them frequently. After he became a young adult, he sent his resume into a local Sim Fu academy. I was very happy for him when I learned that he was accepted. He now teaches young school aged children five days a week. I'm thinking of bringing the kids to get some free lessons.

The triplets are absolutely gorgeous. Amy(to the left) is still a bit shy, but she's doing excellent in school. She's joined the debate club and has a gift for public speaking. She wants to become the mayor of Sunset Valley when she's older. I know that it probably won't happen, considering it's a tough road when it comes to politics, but I still encourage her to try her best. She got a bit mad at me when I took a picture of her in her pajamas. I still think she looks cute!

Cara is stunning. She's my little bookworm. She reads every minute of her spare time and shares my love of writing. She's formed a book club with a few of her friends from school and they all meet here every Wednesday. I'm always told by them that my cookies are the best! I mean, I don't mean to brag...

Mackenzie is more of a Gothic girl. The polar opposite of her two sisters. She loves to dress in dark colors and listen to, er, interesting music. She is a very talented guitar player and is in a band with a few other kids. At one point she asked me to get a belly-button ring. Of course I said no, but she got one anyway. I'll have to keep an eye out for her.

Elle still loves to get herself into trouble. I've already gotten calls from her school that she's caused chaos. Clogging toilets, setting whoopee cushions, and rigging sinks to spray are just a few of her specialties. Despite all of the constant mayhem she causes, she's still a sweet girl. She loves to help her younger siblings with anything they need and is constantly asking me for tasks to assign to her. She's a hard worker and very determined in general.

Jayden(on the left) has strange blonde hair and my mother's purple eyes. Despite not getting any of his father's features, he's still very cute. He's shown an interest in the toy fire engine that I bought him a while ago. I often wonder if that's what he'll become.

Chase, my little vampire, has his father's jet black hair and my mother's purple eyes. He has the same eyes as his brother except they glow. He's shown no signs of being aggressive which has put me at ease.

The next father in my challenge is named Clifton Cruz. He has dark blue hair with light blue and purple highlights. His eyes are also dark blue and his skin is a beautiful shade of chocolate brown. I would love for the baby(or babies!) to look like him.

One afternoon, while I was making lunch, I heard a knock on the door. After hearing the triplets all shout, "I got it!" I continued cooking. I heard them all pushing each other out of the way, all trying to get their hands on the doorknob. I sighed, layed the the spoon I was using, and squeezed myself between them all(which wasn't easy because a bit large at the time). I opened the door and gasped. Their father and one of my best friends, Logan Fey, was standing on my front porch. I gave him a huge hug and then prepared myself for the stampede. All of the girls spread their arms open wide and ran towards their father. They hadn't seen him since they were toddlers.

"Dad!" Amy shouted.

"I've missed you so much!" Mackenzie exclaimed.

"I can't believe you're here!" Cara chimed in beaming.

(Please ignore the fact that Logan is a fairy. He really isn't, but for some reason when I went into CAS to try and get rid of the wings, they wouldn't go away. Even if I made him human)

Logan stared at his girls and then a smile slowly spread across his face.

"Chloe! Why didn't you tell me they were so beautiful?" He pulled them all into a hug.

"I sent you pictures!" I replied. Everyone had a smile on their faces. "Anyway, why are you here? You live all the way in Sunlit Tides!"

"Well, I wanted to talk to you about something, so I used it as an excuse to visit." He  shrugged.

"Alright..." I couldn't tell what he was getting at. "Let's sit in the living room. I'll bring out some juice boxes."

"Juice boxes?" He snickered.

"It's all I have!" I giggled. It did sound funny.

I brought out the juice boxes and set them on the coffee table.

"So, what's up? What's so important that you came all the way from Sunlit Tides?" I laughed.

"Becks is moving there too." He replied.

"Wh-what?" I stated shocked. "Becks is leaving?! She can't leave! You just left!" My words start to jumble together.

"That's what I came here to talk about. We both want you to move to Sunlit Tides too. Becks bought a house right across the street from me and there's another up for sale immediately down the street. We'd have our own little, uh, township!" His face lit up.

"Move? But-but I just moved here! I've barely lived in this house!"

He sighed. "I know, but this house is perfect for you. Trust me. You'll love it! It's not the same without you and Becks. That's why I convinced her and am trying to convince you!" He gave me a puppy dog face. "Pleeeeeeeease?"

I actually thought about it. Sunlit Tides is a gorgeous place. I knew it too. Matthew and I had vacationed there. The kids loved it, he loved it, and I loved it. What more was there to think about?

"Fine. I'll move to Sunlit Tides." I felt the words roll off my tongue.

Logan looked satisfied with himself. He hopped up and gave me a hug.

"Just so you know", he started, "Becks sent me." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "I should have known."

He then got up to leave, but I stopped him.

"Hey Logan?" I called.

"Yea?"

"One more thing." I walked over to him and whispered in his ear. "You and Becks need to hook up."

He blushed. "As soon as you and that red head over there do." He pointed to Alex and winked at me. The smile quickly faded from my face.

"Alex is my friend, Logan. You know that." I replied seriously.

"Whatever you say", he said. "Whatever you say." He then turned and walked out of the door.

After Logan left, I took a nice hot shower and changed my clothes. I thought about the fact that I was moving yet again. I knew Matthew would be ok with it. He'd go wherever I would go. He's just that type of person which is why I love him. What bothered me more is that I just got my friendship with Alex back, and now I'd be leaving him behind.

Considering he was already at my house like he is almost everyday, I found him in the living room and explained everything.

"Alex, I'm moving." I mumbled.

"What?" He asked. "I didn't catch that." I looked into his innocent, big, blue eyes and felt terrible. I knew this would upset him.

"I'm moving." I repeated.

He frowned. "Where?"

"Sunlit Tides." I didn't dare look him in the eyes. I didn't want to see the pain that I knew would fill them.

"I'm coming with you." I heard him say.

'What?!" My head shot back up. I couldn't believe what I had just heard.

"I said, I'm coming with you.

"Alex, no. I couldn't ask you to do that." I explained.

"You didn't ask. I told you." He said firmly.

I gaped at him. 'But, your job! Your family! Your friends!"

"Chloe, I can get another job. In case you haven't noticed, I'm pretty damn good at what I do. My family lives in Twinbrook so they're already very far away. Lastly, to answer your question, the only friend that matters to me this much is you."

"Alex, I can't believe you. You are truly amazing." I gave him a hug.

"I know, I know. You don't need to remind me." He said playfully. "So, when do we leave?"

"Whenever possible, I guess. I still have to tell Matthew." I replied guiltily.

"Meh, he'll be fine with it. I've worked with him for a while now. He loves travel." He reassured with a smile.

A few months later I was watching the kids, Alex, and Matthew play in the pool. By now Matthew and I had discussed moving and he was completely ok with it. Ok isn't even the word. He was excited! So were all of the kids. Chase and Jayden were inside napping. Something I wish I could do more often.  I was laying in the lounge chair when I felt my water break. Looks like a nap wouldn't be an option right now.

I waddled quickly to the nursery where I gave birth to a giggly baby boy. Baby #23 Bradley Moreau.

You've Got A Friend in Me

Note: I decided to put this note up here just so there isn't any confusion as you're reading this. I know that up until now I've been writing my challenge according to sim days. Which means that Chloe would only be pregnant for three days at a time in her challenge. I decided to change this and write the story in actual years, therefore, she'd be pregnant for nine months like in real life time. I know that this means by the end of her challenge she should be over 100 years old, but I think this just makes more sense and fits better with the story. Thank you for your understanding :) Now enjoy the post! :)
***************************************************************

When I was born, my parents were vacationing in France with my older brothers who were two at the time. I, unfortunately, had decided to come two weeks early. After the initial panic subsided, my mother was driven to the local hospital and taken to the maternity ward. While my father attempted to fill out some last minute paper work, my brothers were watched by a friendly nurse in the waiting room. I heard she resigned soon after...

I was born on May 13th at 8:10pm. I was just a bit underweight, which was normal. Nothing serious. I had a small tuft of my mother's blue hair on my head along with my father's big blue eyes and long eye lashes. They named me Chloe which means "blooming." They thought I would go far in life and they loved the sound of the name.

Two days after I was born, my mother and I were released from the hospital. My parents decided to cut the vacation short and traveled back home with my brothers and their new baby girl.

I was a very calm and happy baby. Not much bothered me. I was very giggly and loved to be held. My brothers were extremely curious when it came to their new sister. At first my parents were hesitant at letting a couple of toddlers hold me, let alone lay me in their lap. I was very small and delicate. But after weeks of pleading and crying, my mother allowed both of my brothers to hold me(I would have objected if I could at the time!)

My parents were great friends with Elizabeth and Oliver Springs. They had a son who was just one week older than I was. His name was Alex. When I was a toddler, my parents went to visit them and took me along. I immediately took a liking to Alex. We played together all day and when my parents tried to separate the two of us, we both threw a fit. Thankfully, they only lived about ten minutes away so the two of us constantly saw each other.

By the time Alex and I were in school, we were best friends. We were almost always together and practically lived at each others houses. I was the daughter the Springs' had always wanted and Alex, well, he was just another mischievous son my parents were happy to look after. We knew every detail about each other and had so much in common. I remember when he dumped a bucket of water on my head when we were in the fourth grade. At the time I was furious, but now I think it's quite hilarious. We were definitely inseparable.

When we were teens we both joined the art club and journalism together. They were both two of our favorite things. We were both so talented.

When prom rolled around I wasn't sure what was going to happen. I figured we'd be going as friends, but I wasn't sure if I wanted that to be our status. I was sixteen and having feelings for my lifelong best friend. I didn't know what to do. Did he feel the same way? When he did ask me, I was ecstatic. I knew that when he asked, it wasn't romantic, but I still picked out a beautiful dress, did my hair and make up, and tried not to get my hopes up.

When the night arrived, he knocked on the door. I walked down the hallway with a smile on my face while he stood there with a look of astonishment on his. The butterflies in my stomach started up again and I felt like I was about to puke. But, I forced down those feelings and got into the car.

The evening was absolutely perfect. We took pictures, drank punch, chatted with our friends, danced a bit, and just had a great time. When a slow song came on, I awkwardly stood in the corner, but Alex came over and grabbed my hand, putting the smile back on my face. We danced and I gazed into his gorgeous blue eyes. I wanted so much for him to kiss me, but I knew it would never happen. He was my best friend!

What happened next surprised me. He pulled me in close enough to smell his cologne and planted a soft kiss on my lips. I was in shock. He stared at me and smiled. How could I not smile back? I had been waiting for this for so long! I couldn't hide the elation that I felt inside. My heart felt like it was ready to explode. We continued to dance and when the song ended, we gazed into each others eyes for what felt like years. This has to be a dream. I thought to myself. But it wasn't!

Afterwards, when he took me home, we stood outside my front door in silence for a few minutes. I finally got up the nerve to plant a kiss on his lips and slipped inside. I pressed my back up against the door and bit my lip, holding back a smile. I love him. I thought. I'm in love with my best friend and it's taken me years to realize it!

I walked back to my room and undressed quietly. I climbed into bed and pulled the covers up to my chin. That night I couldn't sleep. My mind was racing with thoughts.

The following day I got a call from him asking me to meet him at his house. The sadness in his voice alarmed me. When I arrived, I walked up the familiar steps to the porch and saw him sitting on an outdoor couch.

"Sit, Chloe." He gestured.

I took a seat next to him and scanned his face worriedly.

"What's wrong, Alex?" I asked.

He sighed. "I'm moving... to Twinbrook."

I sat there for a few minutes in silence when my brain yelled, "Breathe!" I took a deep breath.

"When?" My throat choked up.

"In two months. My dad was offered a job. Chloe, you know I wouldn't have started something if I had known." He explained sadly.

"I-I know, Alex."

The next two months went by way too quickly and I found myself standing in his drive way waving goodbye to the car that got tinier and tinier as it drove down the street. That afternoon had consisted of a heart breaking goodbye and a hug that I never wanted to let go of.

I know that we promised to stay in touch, and we did. But as things like school and the time difference got in the way, we eventually drifted apart and lost contact. Losing Alex was one of the worst things that happened to me. If I could have gone with him, I would have.

And yet another note!: I'm sorry for the lack of pictures in this post. I had originally planned to have a lot more than I added, but my game decided to be glitchy and kept freezing. So, I got as many pictures as I could.
