Babies 10 and 11: Can You Feel The Love Tonight?

"Eeep!" A small yelp escaped from my mouth. "Gosh, Matthew! You can't sneak up on me like that!"

He laughed. "Sorry, Chloe. I didn't mean to scare you. The little ones are begging for a trip to the park. I thought I'd run it by you first before I do anything."

I faked a mean face. "Well, what about me?" I smiled after I said this and he laughed.
"Well, I don't know..." He teased.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Why don't you pack a lunch? We can all spend the day there."
"Good idea!" I agreed.
When we got to the park we all sat down to enjoy our lunch. I had whipped up some hamburgers before we left and they were delicious. The triplets sat and played with their toys which kept them satisfied for about five minutes.
"Mama I wanna got on the horsie!" Primrose yelled.
"Ok sweetie. I'll take you over there."

"Matthew? Will you keep an eye on Mason while I'm with Primrose? He's had a habit of stuffing things up his nose lately..." I asked.
"Mhmm." He managed to choke out while chewing his food. I just laughed and walked away.

I sat Primrose down on the pinkish looking horse and made sure she held on so she wouldn't fall.

The happiness on my little girl's face made me happy. Everytime I looked into her beautiful, big, green eyes, I thought of Matthew. The giggles that escaped her mouth would make any mother delighted.

"So, are you and my mom, like, dating?" Lucas asked.

"Is it that obvious?" I replied with a question to his question.
"Well", he started. "You're always at our house, you sneak kisses when you think we're not around, and my mom giggles everytime we mention your name. So yes. It's pretty obvious."  I thought about what he said. She giggles? I laughed to myself.
"Yea, you could call it dating. We're not in anything official, I should say, but yes, we are dating." I gave him the best answer I could.
"Don't hurt her." Lucas replied.
"Excuse me?"
"I said don't hurt her. Not that I think you would, but don't. After she lost the baby, she wasn't the same. Fern and Fiona had to handle everything for days on their own. She wouldn't come out of her room. When you came along, she went back to her old self again. She's happy. If you left, she'd be hurt again and I don't want to see that happen." He answered.
"Lucas, I'm not leaving anytime soon. Don't worry." That put a smile on his face. He then stood up and ran towards a group of boys I assume to be his friends.

Chloe's P.O.V

"Well, I'm back." I said. "Primrose loved the horse." Matthew didn't say anything.
"Why are you looking at my funny?" I asked him.
"Hm? Oh, nothing. I was just, er, thinking." He replied.
"Okay... What did you do while I was gone?"  Why was he acting weird?
"Lucas and I talked for a bit." He answered.
"Oh really? That's good! What did you talk about?" I was glad my son was taking a liking to him.
"Uh, his football team. Do you wanna head back? I can take you home if you want."
"Sure, thanks!" I exclaimed.

When I got home I did the laundry. Mason had managed to cover himself in dirt right before we left the park. It was his was of saying he didn't want to go home and was mad that I made him.

I then picked up the tots' toys that were scattered throughout the house.

When it got late, I read all three of the triplets a story. They all looked pretty tired so I tried to pick shorter books so they could get to sleep faster. I didn't want any cranky babies!

Before I went to bed, I vomited into the toilet. This was my least favorite part of pregnancy. I could deal with the back pains and mood swings, but I didn't enjoy losing my lunch everyday.

The next father was a man named Josh Lavender. He has light purple hair and purple eyes. His genetics were great for my challenge.

The following morning I watched the triplets play with the block table. Mason kept stealing the blocks from Calista and I had to put him in time out. I knew he was going to grow up to be a trouble maker.

Meanwhile, while keeping an eye on the triplets, I tried to repair the television Lucas had broken but "forgot to tell me."

I noticed Primrose looked very tired even though it was just after lunch. I picked her up and sat down on the couch with her. She fell asleep in minutes. I assumed Mason or Calista kept her up last night. While she laid in my arms, I watched TV keeping the volume as low as possible so not to disturb my sleeping child.

Matthew came over later in the day when I put the rest of the kids down for their naps. He was kind enough to give me a much needed massage.

He then asked me to go to Simfest with him. I called a baby sitter to watch the kids and then went to watch the talented citizens of Sunset Valley.

The second we arrived back at my house, I felt my water break. Matthew didn't really know what to do so he just stood there with a shocked expression on his face.

I went into my room to give birth so I would't make him any more uncomfortable than he already was.

After a very short labor, I gave birth to twins. Baby #10 Violet Moreau and Baby #11 Liam Moreau. Violet is the name of a purple flower. Liam means "strong willed."

A few minutes after I gave birth, Matthew knocked on the door and I told him to come in. He saw the babies and smiled.
"You ok?" He asked.
"I'm fine. Would you like to stay? If you don't that's fine." I started.
"No, I'd love to. Do you want me to stay with you until you fall asleep? You look exhausted."
"Thanks, I would. I am pretty tired."

After we put the babies in the nursery, we laid in my bed and I tried to fall alseep. After quite awhile, I heard Matthew whisper.
"Chloe, are you awake?" He asked. I didn't say anything.
"You don't need to worry. I'm not going anywhere." He said. There was a long pause before what he said next.
"I love you." I smiled to myself when I heard that. Then I fell asleep.
Note: This was really just a filler post. That's why it's so short, but I hope you enjoyed it! Please leave a comment :)

  5. Aww, it's sweet to see Chloe's son looking out for her.

You've already heard this plenty of times but Matthew and Chloe are so good together! I can't get enough of those two. It scares me because they're already in a relationship and it's the beginning of the challenge and I don't want them to break up because relationships that early usually do. But that's just me being paranoid. :P

  6. I loved writing the scene between Lucas and Matthew :)

I can't either! I just love writing about romance :D

Don't worry! I have no intention of breaking them up. So don't be paranoid :D

    Thank you for commenting :)
